Original artwork description:

On Christmas Eve 1900 a cargo vessel called The Brunswick overturned in the Severn Estuary after it ran inti deep fog. And until now the mysterious ship had never been seen again. Until October 2017 researchers have used sonar imaging to survey the Bristol Channel area. The stunning images have revealed the 210' long by 30' wide ship.
This has inspired me to paint a monochrome in sepia of the ship at anchor in 1899.
