Original artwork description:

Original painting by Alan Harris, British artist,
Monet once said " light is not static but moves around what we see" following his style and, mixing his technique with my own, led me to this painting..which I have called "The Bridge on The Thames"

Alan's style in this painting has reminiscences of the great impressionist master Monet. The Houses of Parlament fading into the fog behind the bridge with vigorous tones made the orange and blue stand out.
This painting, gives a personal touch to your spaces, creating a personal and intimate environment, cosiness, and comfort to your home.
Powerful and evocative this painting can be a wonderful, stunning centre piece to any home.

Size 28"x20" unframed.
This work is made on deep frame stretched canvas, doesn't necessarily require a frame.
Alan Harris works with a variety of mediums and subjects, oils, watercolours, pastel, mixed media, and sculptures.

Some comments on Alan's work:

"There is something about viewing Alan's painting, that has a peaceful, calm, force about it. It slows the senses, so the dreams that come will hold our ability to drift off into that peacefulness!!"

"Turner is one of my favourite artists, you capture light and atmosphere in the same way he did, absolutely wonderful, a total joy to look at your work,.."

Materials used:

Acrylic, Oil, yeso, varnish
