Original artwork description:

This is a unique collage made with original 19th century engravings taken from Victorian books and magazines, so it’s approximately 120 to 140 years old. I've made it with traditional methods using scissors, scalpels and archival glue.
I've been influenced by the collages of Max Ernst, and I've explored the same techniques that Ernst used when creating what has been called the first graphic novel "Une Semaine De Bonté", a surrealistic novel in collage.

Materials used:

--The collage is made with original Victorian engravings cut from 19th century magazines and books. To give support, the collage is archival glued to backing card
