Painting in expressionist figurative style with references to Fauvism, aimed at the world of fantasy and the strong symbolic value. The rich and full-bodied pictorial matter structures the whole work where I stand out my self-portrait riding a horse, a noble and intelligent being, fascinating and full of sensuality, surrounded by an eagle and a dragon, from whose tail, according to Japanese tradition, the sword I am brandishing is extracted. Archetype of strength and justice, the sword in turn, in Chinese culture, falling into the river turns into a shining dragon or, sticking into the ground, originates water sources. From here draws the eagle that, in its soaring to heights impossible for man, becomes a symbol of any upward movement, from earth to heaven, linking the material world to the spiritual world, from death to life.
