Original artwork description:

This was the first outdoor painting of 2018 – Scotland in April. I was attracted to the agricultural landscape with the farm buildings as a subject but my main focus was on that fresh Spring light and the first green on the distant fields contrasting with the brown stubble and still leafless trees in the foreground. But with blue skies opening up above and allowing the warm sun's rays to break through, undoubtedly, Spring is on its way!
This original watercolour painting was painted on 650g, 100% cotton rag, mould-made paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton watercolour paints on 100% cotton rag mould-made paper
