This is a view within the Botanic Gardens of Mallorca, in the town of Soller. The Lilly Pond was beaming with light, shadows, pattern and colour.
I love to paint mallorca and try to bring out the stunning bright light you get there.
Watercolour is one of my favourite mediums as you can achieve beautiful layers of translucent colour, and create some wonderful impressionistic works.
