In this summer scene in oils on stretched canvas I have melded impressionist renderings of a tree line on the shore of a lake with abstracted reflections made using squeegees. The bold complementary colour choices of red and green tones evoke color field painting, creating a calming and tranquil place to rest one's gaze.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness, on professional quality stretched canvas by Belle Arti measuring 40 cm by 40 cm. The work is signed on the reverse.


The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.
