The blue ear is not a figurative sculpture in the usual sense. The artist created a complex, twisted structure from a piece of maple wood. It is the inner workings of a sculpture that interests the artist. The association "ear" is therefore quite obvious. The sculpture is treated with ultramarine blue pigments and oil. This also gives it its own, somewhat mysterious character. It is mounted on a white stone slab.
