Inspiration

This artwork consists of 4 handmade collage paintings displayed as a group. With this artwork I wanted to continue my exploration into robin birds.

It all comes back to a life experience I had of one day sitting on a park bench and a robin bird came up to me which looked like it was carrying some food in its mouth which it then dropped by my side. It looked intentional like it was offering me food. The bird must have stayed for 5 minutes or so before leaving. After this I was reminded how surreal this moment was, I have never forgotten it.

After doing some research I discovered mythology associated to this bird tells story's of: eg robin birds appear when loved ones are near, good luck, happiness and rebirth.

Sometimes I find logic can not make sense of this world filled with curiosity.
