An acrylic painting measuring 30 x 30 cm and painted on MDF canvas board.
'The Bird Who Loves Bunting and Books' is very autobiographical.., I can usually be found in the quiet moments of the day surrounded by bunting and reading.
Painted in layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze, rubbed back to reveal previous layers of colour making what is underneath as important as what is visible on top.
Book page collage is added for another layer of interest.
