Original artwork description:

An acrylic painting, incorporating gold leaf and collage.
The painting features my little bird in a moment of quietness feeling on top of the world.
Made building up layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze medium, rubbing back to reveal previous layers and expose the gold leaf, collage and book page featuring an extract from a short story about a bird tentatively spreading it's wings.
Painted on canvas board.
