It represents a kind of bird with a long beak perched on a piece of wood, with the piercing eyes of the kingfisher and a kind of dotted cap that reminds us of the green pîc...

It belongs to the Ostreid series, which expresses the complexity of life in its search for the most appropriate form for survival, as well as the wisdom of the mind applied to the transformation of matter.

The Calotte bird was carved with a gouge from wood that had been cleaned and emptied of its impurities and weaknesses, to give it its final form.

The base was homemade with thick wood sanded and painted in black then varnished, and a large old iron nail hammered into the wood.
