This painting began with the idea of life and the circle of birth to death I used sunflowers to portray the development of life from bud to browning flower also the use of bee's as the polinater of life and the need for preservation and to take care of this wonderful planet, the girl looks on and watches taking care of both the bees and the sunflowers. Visually I think sunflowers are stunning in structure and colour
