The city of Bogota Colombia inspired me to create this work.
Bogota is a city of contrasts. A mixture of elegant colonial culture, brutal graffiti, chaos, hanging wires cutting through the sky and the hidden presence of ethnic images. Such a mixture gives an incredible flavour and dynamism to this city and chaotic beauty.
The graffiti face is a portrait of an Indigenous girl, whose characteristic traits can be spotted in people on the streets of Bogota in Colombia.
