Original artwork description:

Looking south from Fife over The Forth Estuary towards East Lothian. Highlighted in bright sun is the white rock face of The Bass Rock which usually looks relatively dark but sometimes, as in this case, it looks very bright and mesmeric.

This is an oil painting on prepared board. Behind the board is a subframe which means that it is possible to hang the painting without a frame.
