A quiet painting filled with bursts of color inspired by the Fall Landscape. Armed with a traditional northern European pallete, I wanted to create the lush sensation of walking through the woods on a crisp fall day, with bright orange marks of color to recreate the rustling of leaves underfoot.
Materials used:
oil paint on birch board, cradled to hang 1" off the wall.
