'The Ascent' is part of a series of Contemporary Modernist style figurative works .

This artwork is drawn freehand using a dipping pen and Indian ink, unique and one of a kind.
I am heavily influenced by the art of the early twentieth century. Deco and Art Nouveau have an elegance, drama that is so attractive. Angular lines are accentuated by smooth curves.
The artwork depicts the struggle of man, human beings to reach their goals and aspirations. The summit is never too far away.
