Original artwork description:

A painting about the steady arrival of hope. The poet Nayyirah Waheed writes about how the world has ended for her many times, only to start again the next day. I think life often feels like this. Sometimes the sense of the world ending is a sudden defeat, setback or bereavement. Sometimes it feels like life has been bled out of you over a long period of difficulty. And yet, somehow, even this can change. The world begins again. Good things can happen and they do. Hope arrives in many forms.

Materials used:

Acrylic on canvas
