Original artwork description:

This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music.
This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise. represents a wooded area, perhaps a clearing in a forest, with some logs on the ground. In the upper right corner we see what could be the ruins of an aqueduct, a Roman construction that carried water from the springs (not from the rivers directly) to the cities, from where it was distributed throughout the city to the baths, fountains, etc. . Here the aqueduct represents that water supply, its conduction from the spring, from the earth itself, to us. Water is synonymous with life. It can also be renewal, cleaning, purification. In this sense, we see that there is a green hedge that looks like a hand, like the hand of Mother Earth that gives us food, what is necessary for life. We also see in the central area a kind of bowl, possibly made of stone like granite. Next to it is a black spot that could represent a head or some confused thoughts. Perhaps the bowl is like a baptismal font or a container to cleanse those thoughts, to clear the mind and spirit, perhaps in order for us to see things more clearly, to be able to better understand what they represent in our lives and in our lives. life in general, to give thanks for having them for free, to preserve them not only while we live but for those who come after (and not behind, but ahead). Maybe someone is starting to build a bridge...
No frame is needed, because the canvas has 3 cm deep painted edges.

Acrylic
