This is an oil painting of the Lighthouse at Anstruther Harbour, in the East Neuk of Fife. It is one of a series of paintings I have done of the harbour, and there will probably be many more as it is a very inspiring place from the point of view of finding subjects and compositions for painting. The sunlight on the water is very bright there, which often means that things appear as silhouettes.
This is for sale framed to a very high standard. Hence the high price!
