The pressure is on at the Annual Kite Flying Competition in Devon, England! Who will take away the coveted trophy??
This is a large textile collage. I have used a heavy cotton fabric as the base for this collage. All the details, such as the boardwalk, the people, the kites, dogs etc have been made from all sorts of different cotton fabrics in cheery colours. All the details have been stitched on individually using my sewing machine.
The painting has been backed with a heavy linen fabric which gives the collage a lovely heavy feeling. There is a channel at the top so it can be hung from a decorative curtain pole or similar on a wall or alternatively the collage can be framed. This would look great on the wall above a bed or behind a sofa.
The collage is signed on the front and also the title of the collage is on the front along the board walk.
The collage comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
