I have been enthralled by pushing the boundaries of working with pen. Until commencing my degree in fine art I was consistently dissuaded from using the biro in an artistic context, perhaps the medium lacked credibility in relation to the wider art world until the past decade.
This mixed media collage and biro pen portrait, depicts Muhammad Ali as the epitome of masculinity, the Alpha.
