There is something so relaxing about working on an allotment and it brings a lot of joy to a lot of people. I have fond memories of having one when I was 12 and living in Wales. These sheds are local to me and on our Horsell allotments. Obviously I wanted to create a composition that was pleasing and took the most interesting ones together. The Bicycles are a symbol of life in and around them.

Painted in Dip Ink pen with washes of ink. Ph Martin Light Fast Inks used on Two rivers paper 400GSM (so beautifully rough in appearance, everyone will know its a piece of art). And framed in a modern deckelled edge style with non reflective glass. The frame is a cream Brompton Wood Frame.

I tape the class and professionally packaged as thoroughly as I can for transport.
