Another middle-aged painting from the storeroom.
It so happened that I do not have a single photograph of my grandfathers.
They were killed many years before I was born. In the 30s in the Soviet Union. In different parts of the country, at about the same time.
I know they were both peasants. Hard-working peasants with many children who lived a little better than everyone else.
Their only fault was that they did not want to live by communist rules.
I came up with a generalized portrait of my grandfather. I think he could be like that. A bit sly, but funny and kind.
What did I inherit from my grandfather?
Mom said that a cheerful character, love of work and not perfect eyesight. I think that's a lot. Thank you grandfather.
