It was time for me to do an updated piece inspired by my now five year old Granddaughter, Piper. It’s been awhile, and she has grown into quite a Blonde “Repunzel”. I love the simplicity of the setting; a Flowerbed. To add detail to the subject’s dress, I added torn bits of flowered paper, scattering them across her frock. This canvas is painted around the edges, so it can be hung unframed.
