An original oil over acrylic on canvas painting.
This artwork is a part of the series of my paintings dedicated to Homer’s “The Iliad” and “The Odyssey”. Inspired by Cy Twombly’s “Fifty Days at Iliam” and works by Cy Twombly in Philadelphia Art Museum. Heavy impasto builds by brushes and palette knife.
The master-quality material has been used. Using oil over acrylic technique allows achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture.
Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the front.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
