This star-agave, with a fluorescent pink spot bursting and emanating from its core, symbolizes the vitality and lifeblood of the agave.

This painting highlights the significance of the agave in Mexican culture. The sap of this noble cactus is the essential ingredient for the production of tequila, an iconic and revered beverage in Mexico and around the world. The agave landscapes, with their vast blue agave plantations, have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO due to their historical, cultural, and scenic value.
