A traditional original oil painting on linen canvas depicting a Thames Sailing Barge moored as the sun rises at the start of a beautiful day.
These traditional boats were once very common in the estuaries around south east England, their shallow draft enabling them easy passage upstream. They were also remarkably seaworthy and carried a multitude of cargoes.
