This is a vibrant painting of the Thames in bright sunlight, based on sketches and photographs taken on Waterloo Bridge. The painting is in a loose, impressionistic style. Close up there are layers and layers of blues and greys which combine at a distance to give the effect of sky and water.

This painting is in oils on a standard edge box canvas.
