Original artwork description:

We regularly visit Pin Mill, a small hamlet on the River Orwell in Suffolk and I usually manage to make a painting there. This barge might have been having something of a refit because the leeboard on the right side is missing. It's fascinating to sit and watch the activity on the fore shore after a lovely lunch in the Butt & Oyster pub.

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna on Saunders Waterford 200lb paper.
