In this artwork, I created textured poppies with texture past against a soft pink back ground   The gold leaf I then added gives  the painting even more depth. By colouring the poppies bright red and painting the foliage in black and gold I have given this poppy painting a modern and contemporary feel. The canvas is mounted in a chunky white frame to give an even more 3-D effect. The dimensions of the framed painting are 10’x10’x1.5’. It is a nice bright adornment for any room
