Artwork description:

On Texada Island, the largest of the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia of BC,  sunsets arrive in a blaze of glory.

They are a dialogue between the brilliant light of the departing sun, bands of light splashing the water like the wild brush strokes of an abstract painter, and the dark edges of encroaching night, spilling out into the ocean like ink.

Shapes appear in the shadows and conjure up creatures from legends the original people inhabiting this land might have told each other.
