The sun is almost gone on Texada Island, reduced to diminishing apricot-coloured bands that merge with the dark ocean. In this remote corner of the rocky beach, removed from city noise, the silence that comes with nightfall is intense. Sounds are muted by falling shadows and the night is a velvet shroud. You sit, watching the light fade, reluctant to move and break the spell.

This is a limited-edition reduction linocut, carved by hand and printed by hand from one block of linoleum, one colour at time. Each print may take up to one month to finish from concept to last layer of ink and each print is unique, with possible slight variations within the edition. Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor.
