"Tete-a-tete" is an extra large oil painting from my Ballet Series 2013. The abstractly painted young lady figure makes a pleasant contrast to the background that remains in white hues. The abstract figure is depicted in elegant grey tones that represent the restrained mood of the model. The posture of the body supports the idea of the chosen colors.

The thought that I put behind this painting is social inspired. In the modern society, in which it's a standard to be successful, beautiful and open, a lot of people work hard to become so. Being accepted by society one day we see that we lost contact with the most important person we're dealing the whole life with - our self. Tete-a-tete talk is the first step to reunite the inner and outer world.
