Terracotta summer flower pots
In the corner of my garden,
An array of garden pots,
Filled with pink and purple geraniums,
Exotic stripy grasses,
A Mediterranean feel.

Words and thoughts,
Reflecting back and being inspired by my garden throughout the seasons is so important to me. I have always over the years added many pots to the garden and in my front garden they are everywhere.
Original illustrative watercolour on acid free Fabriano 300 gsm 140lb. I drew out the design with a pencil and then filled it in by lightly wetting the paper and bringing out the flowers, grasses and then the pots. I then wet around the pots etc and put in shadows and stonework behind . I used a four colour technique and my sable hair small pointed brushes.
