Original artwork description:

I like the texture, colour and business of these terraced houses with the washing hanging out to dry and the dog sat just outside his gate.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
