Original artwork description:

Unique concept of a squid sucker emerging from the ground. Because of the size, bringing to life the whole animal is not (by now...) an option. I wanted to recreate the details of the individual suckers, with different sizes and located along the length of the sculpture. It is a very dynamic piece, with angles and twists all over it. This made it very complicated to balance, but visually fluid and alive. This sucker is made of fibreglass and burgundy velvet as main materials.
