In this painting, I sought to capture the dynamic interplay of light and motion, conveying the raw power and eternal beauty of the ocean. I used oil paints to imbue each wave with life, blending realism with touches of impressionism to evoke emotions of awe and reverence for nature's magnificence.
I was inspired by the amazingly warm, happy and peaceful summer days I spent in beautiful Tenerife, by the daring beauty of the sea, by the power and flexibility, the translucency of the glowing big waves that crashed into the shore.
This art piece explores the endless dance between sea and sky, bringing a sense of profound energy and tranquillity to any space.


To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to so much loved by impressionists impasto.

This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
