Original artwork description:

A losely rendered nature oil painting which reminds of a Garden from above. The dark background gives a great, deep contrast to the the light, springlike colours. I applied the colours thickly in a gestural, expressionistic way.

I worked with highly pigmented, artist quality water-soluble oil colours and as well with oil sticks on thick 290 grs. Canson paper. There is a 1 cm/0.4 in rim around the actual artwork.

The work will be varnished with a special oil varnish to protect it against UV-rays and dust.
