The very title, "Tempus Fugit," derived from an ancient verse written by the illustrious Latin poet Virgil over two millennia ago, resonates with the eternal truth of the swift passage of time. In this artwork, my aim has been to capture the complexity of human emotions and the inherent fragility of our existence.
In "Tempus Fugit," the vividly colored figure created in oil becomes a reflection of the present, as if it were an instant captured on the canvas.
