Inspired by an empty chocolate box and an Agatha Christie thriller!
I liked how the empty box looks like a space ship control panel but also quite architectural. In the novel the main character was being poisoned by a gift of confectionary but luckily all mine were very tasty.
I first had to create a photographic plate of the box tray and then with clever inking put chocolates back in using brushes and cloths. Screen-print gave it a shiny black box to define it.

oil based etching ink and screen-print on Somerset paper
