Original artwork description:

'Temptation' was inspired by my long time fascination with the Post WW II Abstract Expressionists and their practice of Colour Field painting as well as the works of Canadian artist Jean Albert McEwen.

While the work is predominantly red, there are variations of reds, dark orange, dark blue, black, and a bit of gold that are seen as a result of the multi-layer technique I used.

The painting is ready to hang with wire attached. The gallery-style canvas has sides painted in black to complete the look.
