Don't you just want to pick this apple up and eat it. The dark brownish/black background makes the red and yellow of the apple rally stand out. There is as slight sheen to the left hand side where the light has caught the shiny skin. This little painting of an apple comes with its own mini easel allowing it to be displayed on a table or a desk etc although it would also look good set in a wide frame.
