This is the first in a series of drypoint prints I am making on the subject of telegraph poles. I became interested in objects that interrupted the skyline, in particular those which I felt were dramatic and visually interesting. Although telegraph poles are always there it's not often that we look up at them and I found there to be lots of variety from the research I did locally in Devon UK.
They lend themselves well to a silhouette and so that is how I chose to portray them. I am pleased with the result and find the prints to be both bold and interesting statements. I feel they are also very modern images and would look great in a home with simple decor. I have been pleased by the compliments they have received so far.... So I hope you enjoy them too.
Dimensions:
Image size: 20cm - 10-cm
Paper size: 38cm - 29cm
