I loved the work of Pierro Manzoni - Merda d'artista 1961,
a magnificent counterweight (or snub?) prior to the work of Warhol campbell soup (1962) perhaps?

Do we consider an artist by his ability to transform an ordinary object into monetary value, or is it the work that makes the artist?

When a simple tin can becomes such an object of worship and a "cash machine" it is better to stamp it directly with what it means, ie a market value, therefore a ticket.
