Sculpted in papier mache clay, unpainted and varnished, this piece retains the colour of the papier mache and is freestanding.
I love sculpting faces full of character and this elderly man has a wonderfully expressive face - even whilst dozing! It is a lovely piece to touch and hold. Signed and dated on the base.
Ted is part of my new collection called 'Portraits' which depicts faces of character and interest.
