This piece is Oil on panel and floated within a white floater frame. Most likely, this "study" will turn into something much larger. After finishing this, I noticed a connection with the Earth, the ever present gradual shifting plates beneath our feet. The splitting apart of this giant rock. Nothing to dwell on. Often times when I work it is a form of automatic writing and I travel to faraway places in an instant. Hopefully, the viewer conjures up something that takes them too.
