Watercolor painting “Tears of Svaneti. Ushguli” was drawn from life during my plein air-travel across Georgia in autumn 2019.

View of the medieval stone Svan towers, which served as a shelter for every family when attacked by enemies.

The towers are very diverse and picturesque, each with its own shapes and character, some are thin and graceful, others are thick and squat. But all together, it seems, make up a single organism and are inseparable from each other.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
