I would love to give you a long and well thought out explanation as to why I painted this portrait and where the inspiration came from. But I can't. It just happened. A woman with the classic look of a young Audrey Hepburn simply has to be painted. I had no choice, every nerve and fibre in my body forced me to. And long may it continue...
