Original artwork description:

Who doesn't love tea and cake and a good old brainstorm? When I have a lot on my mind I find it always helps to sit down with a cup of tea and something yummy and write it all down I always feel a lot clearer and content once I have worked it all through.

This original still life conjures up a relaxing feeling of nostaglia and contemplation, with it's pastel shades and free painterly technique this artwork would make a perfect addition to any home style.

If you look closely you can see pops of colour and small details which capture the eye and add interest, I have used acrylics and layers of mixed media on this 18 x 24 inch stretched canvas, it is unframed and ready to hang.

This sweet treat artwork would bring a lovely splash of colour to a kitchen or perhaps add a fun foodie element to a dining room.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, pastel, pencil, satin varnish
